The balance found by CAAP in Ecuador

This issue of ZOOM MICROFINANCE reports on the experience of the umbrella savings and credit cooperative CAAP in Ecuador. At the beginning of 2021, it had 15 local rural cooperatives with a total of 119,520 members.

An evaluation carried out in early 2021 highlighted how this movement manages to reconcile the economic, social and environmental dimensions of microfinance while working on capacity building and respecting cooperative values.
