Once kept at a distance from public policy, multinational enterprises are now widely regarded as key partners in policy design and implementation by both African leaders and donors.

How has this paradigm shift taken place? To what extent is the “private sector” now influencing policy in the fight against food insecurity? What are the issues raised by these new alliances?
